Our Approach
At COAST NEUROREHAB PHYSIOTHERAPY, we take a holistic approach to providing physiotherapy at home, focusing on the whole person rather than just their symptoms. We work with our patients to identify their goals and develop personalized rehabilitation plans to address their unique needs.
Expertise
Kylie has nearly 20 years of experience, after graduating as a Physiotherapist in 2004 from Curtin University. Working at rehabilitation centres in Melbourne and Perth, Kylie gained substantial experience in various areas of neurology. She then completed further study at UWA as a scholarship recipient, to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Neurological Rehabilitation in 2010. Before then moving to a role as Senior Physiotherapist-Neurology/Stroke, providing home-based rehabilitation. For over 10 years she has been providing physiotherapy at home and in the community.
In 2016-2021 Kylie commenced an additional role on the Rehabilitation Unit (Hughie Edwards) at Hollywood Private Hospital. She thoroughly enjoyed providing weekend rehabilitation sessions at Hollywood while continuing home visiting on weekdays. The case mix at Hollywood included orthopaedics, cardiorespiratory and neurology/neurosurgery.
Specialising in neurorehabilitation Kylie enjoys applying her detailed movement and task analysis to a treat a variety of neurological and complex orthopaedic clients. She is up-to-date with the latest research to provide the most effective and evidence-based treatments to patients.
